THE THEME OF MY SITE CENTERS AROUND THE MOVIES AND MY PASSION FOR THEATRES AND ALL MOVIES IN GENERAL. ABOVE IS THE THEATRE WHICH GAVE ME MY START IN THE MOVIE BUSINESS, TO THE RIGHT IS WHERE I MAINTAIN MY CINEMA CONNECTION IN RETIREMENT, AND BELOW RIGHT IS MY HOME THEATRE-- CONVERTED FROM STANDARD TO WIDESCREEN.
The Colonial Theatre is where I got my start in 1947 as a projectionist, then manager, publicity assistant and film booker.
After retiring from Channel Six Television, I connected with NCG Cinemas in Lansing, as a film previewer and a short stint in projection. Still my favorite cinema!
